Revised and finished a chapter of my Arthurian work a few days ago, now moving on tothe final touches on a piece I'm submitting for a horror short story contest.

When I'm weary of writing, I work on one of my seven new designs for Project Runway auditions in a few weeks. The pleating was a b**** to sew, as it's an empire waist dress with this eyelet black lace-like cotton fabric for the bust area. It's looking very Wednesday-Adams-meets-Jewel, which I guess was what I intended in the first place, so. Fun and weird without true morbidity. ;)

I'm curious about the rest of you--what's the biggest/scariest/most important audition/pitch/job interview/competition you've ever done?

I did an audition for a commercial when I was probably eight or nine -- while I'd done open calls for three films, I hadn't been filmed before. (The one film I heard about an open call for and didn't go to? Interview with the Vampire, for Claudia. D'oh!)

As for job interviews, the JET interview was pretty intense, but I was well-prepared for it and hopefully it'll all turn out well.

That reminds me, I'm going to e-mail the Bravo exec who blogs (Andy somebody) and ask about how they pick the models.
