Yeah, I understand your point. If I had an agent and she were anything like my friends from college, I can't see how her political views would be more important than her genre tastes. Now, outside of NYC, I might be much more selective in who I'd choose to query for my nonfiction political ms, because the last thing I need is my advocate shoving my ideas back down my throat, screaming that I'm going to burn in Hell. I doubt that would ever happen, though.
